Signs You Need New Car Tyres
Tyres are essential to the safety of your vehicle, the passengers, and other road users. If you have any concerns about your tyres have them inspected by our expert team and arrange a mobile tyre replacement service at your convenience.
If your tyre tread falls below 1.6mm they are now longer road legal. We recommend arranging new tyres for your vehicle once they reach 3mm in depth.
A lack of grip in wet or icy conditions can be a sign of excessive wear or bald patches.
If you get a flat tyre and repair is not possible the only option you have is to have the tyre replaced. Signs that you may have a puncture include heavy steering, pulling, and sudden jerking of the wheel.
New tyres should be fitted as a matter of routine around every 6 years, with an absolute maximum of 10 years.
